Re: STURT STREET PEDESTRIAN UPGRADE

We have had a second meeting with four proposals that were reworked. Two final proposals will be looked at again with the view to submitting one of them to ACC. The next step is then for the ACC to canvass the proposal & then hopefully go ahead with the upgrades. This may happen all in one big h...

VICTORIA SQUARE

I say block it off between Waklefield & Grote Streets & build a tunnel underneath for the cars. This will make a huge green space that can be utilised much more effecintly for public activities. Maybe even a cafe that is similar to the one in the Mall that is permanant but looks temporary.

Re: Banner Holders for Light poles

FIELD STREET

On Field Street there was a badly cracked ETA cement plate. I called ACC on 04/09/07 to report the fault. It was repaired on 10/09/07. This proved to me that by calling the ACC to alert them about unsafe footpaths they were quick to react. I was very pleased with how quick the hazard was fixed.

ACC COUNCIL ELECTIONS

I find it interesting with the difference in the campaign so far between the 4 Mayoral Candidates. I contacted the ACC to get email address for the 4 Mayoral Candidates & one didn't have an email address. I find this very strange in the year 2007. There is already quite a challenging going on Be...
